Post-natal expressionism for new mums and dads - Explore your creativity in this inclusive art class for adults, where bringing along your baby is actively encouraged.

At each session you will be introduced to different artists and techniques to create your own original works of art. Artist and educator Christina Rose Brown will explain everything in a way that is achievable for even the most sleep deprived, and easy to pick up amongst multiple feeds and nappy changes. So whether you’re a seasoned pro, or haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school, you’ll have the chance to create a masterpiece, relax and meet likeminded parents while you’re making.

SILVER CLAY JEWELLERY MAKING WORKSHOP

n our Introduction class, immerse yourself in the enchanting world of silver clay during this class in London. Discover the art of using this versatile material, as you learn how to create stunning and unique pieces of jewellery to proudly wear or gift to loved ones. From pendants and earrings to delicate charms, you'll be amazed at what you can achieve with silver clay.

Don't worry if you're a beginner – our workshop is designed to ease any fears you may have. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process, providing step-by-step instructions and offering helpful tips along the way. You'll feel supported and encouraged as you explore this exciting medium during this hands-on workshop.

During the class, you'll have the opportunity to work with various tools and materials, gaining knowledge of techniques such as moulding, shaping, and firing the silver clay. Engage in the therapeutic process of working with your hands and experience the joy of bringing your visions to life.

One unique aspect of this class is that we will be capturing the beauty of nature by using real leaves, flowers, or shells to make exact replicas. You can either use moulds supplied by our instructor or bring your own collected treasures from your travels. If you decide to bring your own leaves, make sure they have a great veining system on the underside of the leaf. Rose leaves are a fantastic example. For shells, choose something that is less than 2cm in diameter.

By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a wonderful sense of accomplishment and your own handmade silver clay creations. What better place to get creative than the comfort of your favourite pub. All te materials and tuition will be supplied to create your beautiful embroidery (with access to the bar to relax while you do it!) all you need to bring is your imagination!

GARANTO ART CLUB - INTRODUCTION TO LINO PRINTING

Have you ever heard of Printmaking, or even seen some prints and wondered "how did they make that?"; this is your chance to come and have a taste of this incredibly rewarding traditional technique.

The workshop is aimed for complete beginners, so don't worry if you never touched a Baren, etching tool or even know what a press is. Everything will be explained by our host Mina, who will be guiding you through the two hours long session.

We will focus on the printing part of the process, and even though etching tools will be shown and explained their use, we will not use them this time: the pieces of lino will be ready for you to start printing and creating your compositions.

Host suggestion: aprons will be handed but it might be wise to bring clothes that you wouldn'd miss if they get stained with ink. Also bring a tote or carrier bag to take your stamps home with you!

MOSAIC MAKING WORKSHOP

The classes are run by artists with over 20 years experience who have an amazing passion for their art forms. The artists will inspire you to explore your creativity in a relaxed learning environment. These classes cover the basics as well as more advanced techniques – dive in at whatever level suits you!

For drop-ins you create a mosaic tile to take home. You will be introduced to the fundamentals of mosaic which can allow you to progress onto further projects, e.g a mosaic art piece, plant pot, mirror frame, table top - we have all the bases for you to choose.
